DISRESPECT

Those of us who have been scorned and disrespected in a humiliating manner, know how uncomfortable and unfair it is to be the “punching bag” for ignorant and distasteful conduct.

A shameful and disrespecting attitude towards others is both undecent and unjust, no matter who is at fault. It is spiteful and dishonourable to make a habit out of putting others down. Those of us who do so are probably more often than not, unhappy with ourselves in some way. If that were not the case, then we would most likely rather choose to be considerate and kind to others and not insensitive and rude. It is best not to tumble over those blockages that are formed by rudeness and crudeness. Diminishing acts weaken the growth of humane ambitions in our relations. That kind of attitude should not be strenghtened and encouraged. It is wise to consider carefully how we choose to react to each other. It is also prudent that we do not disrespect the opinions and circumstances of those who are around us, both in and outside our homes.

A humane vision can function as a protection in human communication, because following such a vision, we will have no tendencies to diminish other people. Those of us who value others for their spirit and not their status or circumstances, have no problem with showing others respect and encouragement. It is exactly because of these values that we focus mainly on people’s inner qualities instead of their material belongings. We also realise that we should challenge and inspire rather than criticize and disrespect.

We should avoid at all costs to humiliate and badger those who trust and need us. Of course the same applies to our demeanour towards strangers. The habit of sincerity and honesty in communication are an improvement to society but a negative and pessimistical point of view is depressing and bitter.

Those of us who want to encourage positive connections choose to be pleasant and just towards others. We reject being impertinent and negative since we don´t see any point in such behaviour. We should not humiliate and disgrace eachother. We should discipline and motivate our inner life in a sophisticated and sincere way, because that is both improving and positive and will make us mature and grow as human beings.

Disrespect causes hopelessness and anger while a noble and courteous reprouch will inspire those who recieve it. We are all impressed when we sense that we are being treated in a considerate and thoughtful manner. That is why we should reject all negative and insensitive behaviour. Be sincere and determined and strenghten the spirit of positive and compassionate relations. Treat others with respect and decency, and success will follow.
